Lindt Creation Créme Brûlée | Review

When I see TV commercials for fancy sweets I immediately think of buying them. I know, I´m weak… I really love this kind of fancy chocolate bars, so I was very excited about trying this one. 

Packaging

There´s not much to say about that… Well, the chocolate itself is wrapped in aluminium foil. The wrapped chocolate bar lies in a box, which will be destroyed after opening it. Unfortunately it´s not resealable. :(


Taste

I would describe it as a crispy caramel chocolate bar. I´m really surprised about the crumbled wafers in the filling. Since there isn´t such thing in an average Créme Brûlée…
I expected it to be at least slightly vanilla flavoured  so I was really disappointed. Despite the flavourings (egg, vanilla) being listed in the ingredients, you (or at least I) can´t taste them at all.
My extremely high expectations could not be reached. But it´s a quite good chocolate though. Just be prepared for caramel instead of Créme Brûlée. Which isn´t that farfetched, if you would just read the description (stupid me). It says deliciously caramelised. ;)

    I love caramel, so I would probably be completely satisfied with this. However, creme brulee is my favorite fancy dessert so I'm kind of disappointed they didn't do a good job making it into a chocolate form. :)
